"I found them willing to share, listen and offer suggestions to any literacy challenges I had."

It is with great pleasure that I share some of the wonderful experiences I have had while working on a Multiliteracies project with Dr Michèle Anstey and Dr Geoff Bull.
Drs Anstey and Bull create a calm and comfortable environment to work in which immediately puts one at ease allowing positive interactions to take place. Their ability to listen with such interest and intensity, valuing my input, concerns and questions is something I in turn appreciate and value immensely. An amazing attribute has been the prompt and invaluable support I have received through correspondence.
Participation in this project has broadened my horizons by challenging me to extend myself and to explore avenues that were lying latent. It has made me more aware of the diversity of resources that are available rekindling an excitement and resolve to generate a multiliterate learning environment.
Considering my practices I prioritized planning as an area that I felt I needed to address. This has lead to reading, experimenting with new ideas, and much reflecting. Restructuring my thinking and planning has enhanced my classroom organization and provides the students with greater opportunities to acquire ownership of their learning.
I have benefited enormously from participation in the Multiliteracies project with Drs Anstey and Bull as their suggestions are realistic and easily put into practice and their support has been invaluable.
